With the summer months quickly approaching, I found myself on Pinterest, typing summer activities for kids into the search bar.
And I found so many fun ideas! So I started collecting the ones that I wanted to try, and putting them into a 10 week calendar. I can’t wait to share it with you!
10 Weeks of summer activities for kids: The calendar
I decided to make each day of the week a different theme, and found a new fun activity to do with my kids for each day. (Don’t worry- nothing too complicated!)

Daily activity themes:
When you follow this calendar, you’ll have a chance to do a different kind of activity on each day of the week. Here are the activity themes:
- Science Sunday: Easy, fun science experiments to do at home.
- Mix it up Monday: Do something you’ve done before… but in a new way! Take a bath… with glow sticks. Have a sleepover in your own living room. Or take a walk IN a creek!
- Tasty Tuesday: Try a new summery snack.
- Artwork Wednesday: Fun and easy art projects that the whole family will enjoy.
- Thoughtful Thursday: Reach out to your community and do something kind to help others.
- Fun in the Sun Friday: Fun outdoor activity ideas that you can do in your own backyard.
- Story time Saturday: Read a book, and do an activity that goes along with the story.
