The Organized Mom Life

The Organized Mom Life

Simple organization for busy moms

Printable moving labels (free template)

Moving can be stressful.

One way to save your sanity a little bit is with a super organized labeling system for your moving boxes.

I created these color-coded labels to make packing and moving just a little bit easier for you and your family.

How to print your labels

These labels are designed to be used with Avery 8163 shipping labels.

(You can buy them on Amazon, here.)

To print directly on your labels, be sure that your printing size is 100% (not “fit to paper” or “fit to printable area.”)

If you prefer not to buy labels, you can easily print onto regular sheets of paper or card stock, and attach the labels to your moving boxes with tape.

Printing options

In the file you downloaded above, you have the option of printing the first 2 pages, which have all the labels on 2 pages, or of printing the labels just for the room that you need. (Pages 3-20)

For example, you can print out just the “kitchen” page, and get 10 kitchen labels all at once:

If you want to save money on printer ink, you can also consider printing on your “draft” setting, or in black and white.

What is included in your download

Here are the labels that you’ll find in the download above:

  1. Bedroom 1
  2. Bedroom 2
  3. Bedroom 3
  4. Bedroom 4
  5. Bathrooms 1
  6. Bathroom 2
  7. Bathroom 3
  8. Living room
  9. Kitchen
  10. Pantry
  11. Dining room
  12. Basement
  13. Garage
  14. Office
