Let me start by saying how truly sorry I am that you are here today. Maybe you’ve recently experienced a miscarriage, or maybe someone close to you has lost a baby. Either way, I’m so sorry. I’ve been there. It’s heartbreaking. I pray that this post will encourage and comfort you, and that God- the only one is is truly able- will sustain you in the coming weeks.
After my first miscarriage a few years ago, I wrote a post called: Hope after a miscarriage: 17 comforting Bible verses. Since then, it’s become one of my most popular posts, and I get emails about it several times a week.
So I decided it was time to create a printable resource to go along with that post. I chose 20 miscarriage Scripture verses (or Bible verses that I have found to be encouraging and helpful to someone who is grieving the loss of a baby.) I put them into a printable format, so that you can download and print a set of cards that you can read and study over and over during this time.
How to download and print
It’s super easy to download and print your cards:
1. Decide whether you want to print with or without lines.
You can see pictures of both options below. The lines make cutting a little bit easier. But, if you have a paper cutter, the PDF with no lines will end up looking a little cleaner when you’re done.
2. Click one of the buttons below.
Your download should automatically begin as soon as you click on one of the download buttons below.
3. Print and cut your cards.
The cards will print out on 5 sheets of paper. (Each page has 4 Scripture cards.) I suggest printing your cards on sturdy card stock, and using a paper cutter to cut them apart.

How to use your Scripture cards
Each of these twenty verses contains truth about God and His goodness. My prayer is that these verses will comfort you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness and loving care for you, even as you are going through such a difficult time.
Once you’ve printed the cards out, here are some ideas of how to use them:
- Keep them with your Bible. Read through a few verses each time you do your daily devotions.
- Tape the cards around your house where you will see them, and read them throughout your day. Put one on the bathroom mirror, one on the kitchen counter, one in your car, etc.
- Read a card or two with your spouse or family every night before you go to bed, or before every meal.
- Keep one card with you throughout your day, reading it often, and committing it to memory before moving on to the next card.
- Use these cards together with my printable miscarriage prayer journal. (Free download here.)
No matter how you choose to use your Scripture cards once you print them, I pray that the truth that is found in God’s word will speak to you during this time, bringing comfort, peace, and over time, healing.
Thanks so much for reading,
Laura

I am part of the club. The one that I never, in a million years, wanted to be a part of. I had a miscarriage. My precious baby is in heaven, instead of here where I can hold her and hug her and talk to her every day. I’m guessing that if you’re reading this,…
