Our baby would have been turning 2 this August. Instead, we had a miscarriage.
I was absolutely heartbroken. I still am, sometimes. But those first few months were the hardest. And today I want to share with you the Bible verses that got me through that time.
If you’ve lost your baby or babies too- I’m so sorry. If your heart is hurting, I hope that these words of truth will bring you peace. I know they have for me.
Miscarriage Bible verses
Psalm 34:18
“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”
John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
“And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Proverbs 13:12
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”
Psalm 56:8
“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.”
Job 1:21b
“The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.”
1 Peter 5:10
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
Psalm 139:13-16
Isaiah 55:8-11
John 11:32-35
“When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. “Where have you laid him?” he asked. “Come and see, Lord,” they replied. Jesus wept.”
Matthew 7:24-25
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”
Jeremiah 29:10-14
“This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
Matthew 10:29-31
“Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. “So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.”
Psalm 68:19
“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.”
Matthew 11:28-29
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
1 Peter 5:7
“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
Psalm 56:3
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”

Good morning. I have my very good friend who has passed on thin and thick. Two years ago she was married after some months she got pregnant nd after four months she had a miscarriage. About a week she got pregnant but it was ectopic pregnancy so they removed that tube again on 19th of August, 2020 she had another ectopic pregnancy and they have removed that remaining tube as am talking right now, she has no tubes. Am so touched because it’s the same date the 19 of August you had a miscarriage and I believe God will restore her tubes in Jesus name.

Does anyone ever think about why this happened? I think about my miscarriage was there something I could of done differently. I miscarried at almost 12 weeks. I feel to that know one else see my baby was here and is in heaven. I feel just because I was only a few weeks a long that others feel that it was not a loss. He or she was still my baby.

I think it’s normal to wonder, but know that you didn’t do something wrong. Your baby will forever be your child, no matter how many weeks along you were. I’m so sorry for your loss.
