The Organized Mom Life

Simple organization for busy moms

Meal ideas for the week: A pre-filled meal planner

No time to sit down and create a meal plan for the coming week?

No worries, I’ve got you!

This week I wanted to create a meal plan for you, already filled with meal ideas for the week, links to recipes, and a grocery shopping list.

All you have to do is download and go!

Download your meal planner and grocery list here

What you’ll get with your download

Pre-filled meal planner

On the first page, you’ll find all your meal ideas for the week (lunches and dinners) plus a few snack and breakfast ideas.

Most of these ideas are easy to make without a recipe, and be customized however you want.

However, if you would like a recipe to follow, I’ve included a few links for you as well.

Grocery shopping list

I’ve included a suggested grocery shopping list based on the meals on the meal planning sheet.

Of course, you can customize this based on your own tastes, and what you already have on hand at your house.

Blank meal planner and grocery shopping list

If you want to use my meal planner as inspiration, you can fill out your own meal planner and grocery shopping list that is completely customized to you.

Repeat ingredients

I created this week’s meal plan to use a bunch of repeat ingredients.

(These are ingredients that you’ll use for more than one meal, to make grocery shopping easier and hopefully cut back on waste a little bit.)

These repeat ingredients are marked with * on the shopping list, so that you can be sure to buy enough for multiple meals.

Lunches

3 lunches this week are planned leftover meals to eat up whatever was left from dinner or lunch the day before.

In addition, I’ve planned four meals that reuse some of the same ingredients you’ll be using for dinners this week:

  • Chicken ranch wraps
  • BLT salad
  • Black bean & chicken quesadillas
  • Rice bowls

Each of these 4 things can be easily customized to include your favorite salad/wrap/bowl ingredients such as tomatoes, avocado, beans, raw veggies- whatever you like. The grocery list just provides you with some suggestions.

Dinners

I’ve chosen 7 dinners for this week that range from moderate prep time to extremely easy. You can also choose to use shortcuts to make meal prep even easier.

For example, Friday is pizza. You can choose to make a completely homemade pizza, use frozen dough, or buy or order a ready-made pizza. Totally up to you and your needs for this week. ☺️

I’ve also included suggestions for sides for each dinner.

Breakfasts and Snacks

I included 2 breakfast ideas and 2 snack ideas for you to try in addition to things that you already have at home. Feel free to add on to these lists as needed.

Where do we download the blank one? I tried looking through the whole thing but couldn’t find it.

Yes! Just click on the download button. It’s 4 pages long and the last 2 pages are blank. 🙂
