The Organized Mom Life

Simple organization for busy moms

21 classy maternity photo shoot ideas

I’m always a sucker for articles with titles like 20 maternity photos gone horribly wrong.

I just can’t seem to keep myself from clicking… and then cringing my way through the awkward collection of photos!

Well, this is not that!

In fact, it’s sort of the opposite. In this aritcle you’ll find 21 gorgeous, classy, and totally replication-worthy maternity photo shoot ideas. This is what you should do.

So have fun browsing, and hopefully being inspired for your own beautiful photo shoot!

Isn’t this dress beautiful? This pose is casual and appears effortless. This would be an easy one to replicate.

NO 4

This picture is super bright and airy. And what a beautiful dress!

NO 5

This photo is flattering and so pretty. If you visit the source, you’ll find all the details you need to take your own silhouette maternity photos.

That’s me in this picture! Check out the source link here to see my own latest maternity photo shoot pictures. I loved them so much that I even ended up using one of these pictures as the cover of my ebook and pregnancy planner!

NO 7

SOURCE: Mii-Estilo

I love the look of the big, flowing maternity dress paired with the single balloon. So elegant.

NO 8

SOURCE: Barefoot Blonde

This is a great pose. I love how the couple are standing so close together, but the baby bump is still very accentuated as part of the silhouette. The gorgeous background doesn’t hurt, either.

NO 9

SOURCE: Theresa Knight Photography

This is such a fun, easy idea! This would also be a great photo for announcing the gender of the baby. Just use pink or blue onesies. 😉

NO 10

SOURCE: Rustic Baby Chic

What a pretty pose idea! It’s so sweet. I love the dress color with the muted background, too.

NO 11

SOURCE: Laura Murray Photography

This is a unique idea for a maternity pose. I like how natural it seems.

NO 12

SOURCE: Mii Estilo

Wow, is this dress gorgeous or what? It matches the blossoms in the background perfectly, too.

NO 13

SOURCE: Rustic Baby Chic

This is a great pose for showing off the shape of your bump when you’re wearing a long, flowing dress. The side profile is beautiful.

NO 14

SOURCE: Art of You Photography

This photo is absolutely stunning. What a perfect color dress for a snowy, winter photo shoot.

NO 15

SOURCE: Diana Elizabeth

This pose is cute and natural looking. Taking the photo from slightly above seems to accentuate the baby bump, too.

NO 16

SOURCE: Sew Trendy

This is a pretty, unique pose idea. The white dress with the white floor and background are also very interesting and pretty.

NO 17

SOURCE: Olivia Leigh

This simple, classy pose is a must-have for all maternity photo shoots.

NO 18

SOURCE: Rocky Bella

Oh, how I love pictures of baby bumps with adorable little baby shoes. This one is so well done. Perfect.

NO 19

SOURCE: I am Tamryn Photography

And yet another adorable baby shoe picture! I like how this one includes the mom’s face looking down lovingly at her belly. So sweet.

NO 20

SOURCE: Giggle Hearts

There are so many cute maternity poses in this snowy photo shoot. Be sure to head over and take a look at them. (You thought baby shoes were cute… wait til you see little baby snow boots!) But what I like so much about this picture is that it shows you don’t need a long, flowing dress for your photo shoot. A winter sweater can be just as beautiful!

NO 21

SOURCES: Cosmopolitan and Vic and Marie Photography

And I saved my favorite for last. Vic and Marie Photography did an entire Disney princess themed maternity photo shoot, and it is just amazing! I had so much fun looking at these pictures and trying to decide which Disney princess I would most like to be. Which one would you pick? 😉

That’s it!

21 gorgeous maternity photo ideas. Hopefully you’re feeling inspired for your own maternity photo shoot. 😉 Good luck, and thanks for reading!
