Are you planning on sending out Christmas cards this year? If so, who will you be sending them to? Do you have everyone’s updated addresses? Do you know the exact number of cards and stamps you will need for your list? How will you make sure you aren’t forgetting anyone?
For me, the answer to all of these questions is a digital Christmas card list that is 100% customizable, editable, and simple to use year after year. This baby saves me TONS of time every Christmas season. So today I thought I’d share so that you can use it, too!
(By the way, if you’re looking for a super creative Christmas card idea, check out what we usually do here!)

Here’s how it works:
1. Click here to download your own copy of the Digital Christmas Card List.
You will need to click to make a copy of the file in your own Google Drive.
2. Create categories
Fill in your own categories on the left. My list includes categories like Laura’s family, Kevin’s family, college friends, friends from church, friends from work, etc.
3. Enter names
Who do you want to send cards to? Fill in the names of your family members and friends under the Name heading.
3. Enter addresses
Fill in everyone’s addresses. After you do this once, you’ll only have to maintain it each year after- checking for changed addresses, etc.
4. Use the 2021 column to decide who you would like to send cards to this year.
Put a check mark in this column for each card that you want to send this year. Then scroll to the bottom. The spreadsheet will give you a handy total so that you know how many cards, envelopes, and stamps you’ll need.
And that’s it!
Super easy. Hopefully I’ve simplified the card-sending process for you a little bit today. Enjoy!
-Laura

Hey Laura
Can you then export the list to print mailing labels? Have you done that?
Thank you

I’ve done that just by copying and pasting, which takes a while the first time you do it. I believe there is an easier way to do it, but I haven’t personally looked into it. I’ll have to do some research before next year!
