Baby clothes can be an organizing nightmare.
If you have a baby, then you know that they grow out of their clothes so fast that you are in a constant state of putting away old clothes and getting out new clothes.
And if you’re saving outgrown clothes for a future sibling, it can be hard to find a good system for storing and keeping all of those clothes organized!
BUT, after 3 babies, I think I’ve finally settled on a pretty good system for keeping it all organized. (I wrote a post all about it here.)
That post has gotten tons of traffic, and lots of people have downloaded the printable baby clothes storage labels that I created. But there is one request that I’ve gotten over and over from readers:
“Do you have printable storage bin labels that I can edit myself?”
And, as of today, that answer is, “YES!”
I’m so excited to tell you that I’ve created three different styles of printable, editable baby clothes storage labels for you! They are customizable, so you can type in whatever sizes or descriptions that you want to before printing. (Yay!)
Take a look at the different styles available, and be sure to scroll down to the How to Edit and Print Your Baby Clothes Storage Labels section below. I’ll give you all the technical details about how to make these labels your own. 😉
OK, here they are!
Dot Labels
Aren’t these designs fun?! I think they are my favorite of the 3 styles I created. Pick your favorite, mix and match, or use all six to label your clothing bins.

How to edit and print your baby clothes storage labels
Follow the steps below to download, edit, and print your own clothing storage labels:
1. Make sure you are logged in to your Google account.
If you don’t have a Google account, it is free to create one.
2. Choose the labels that you want to download, and click the download button above.
3. Click the button to make a copy of the labels you picked.
This will allow you to create an editable copy of the labels within your own Google drive. You can choose a new name for the file if you want, and decide where in your drive to save the file.
4. Customize your labels
Now that you’ve made a copy, you can click on the text of each label to customize to your heart’s content!
5. Print
When you’re happy with your labels, click file, then print. You can choose which pages to print (if you only want to use some of the designs and not others.)
I also highly suggest changing the pages per sheet to 2 for a smaller, more manageable label size. I print my labels on heavy card stock so that they are nice and durable.
6. Use your labels
Now you can attach your labels to whatever bins or containers you are using to store your baby clothes. I use clear bins, and tape these labels on the inside facing out so that they can easily be seen.
Definitely check out this article that I wrote about how to organize and store outgrown baby clothes for some more great tips, or click here to see how 11 other organized moms are storing their outgrown baby clothes.
Happy organizing!
I hope you find these labels helpful. Good luck with your organizing project, and as always, thank you so much for reading. 🙂
