Easy preschool lesson plans: 3 weeks of activities

I’ve created 3 weeks of preschool “camps” that you can do at home with your preschooler. These easy preschool lesson plans include 3 fun themes: dinosaurs, construction, and vehicles.

Each weekly lesson plan includes our favorite songs, stories, books, art and craft projects, etc. for the week’s theme.

What’s in the guide and what you’ll need:

Songs/movement:

For each day of the week, we picked a different Youtube song that also includes motions or dance moves, to get our kids moving. You don’t need any additional supplies for this part of each lesson plan.

Activities

For each day, I included 2 different themed activities you can do with your preschooler. These include things like arts and crafts, science exploration, and sensory play ideas.

Dinosaur activities

• Art: Geometric watercolor dinosaurs
• Sensory play: Dinosaur ice eggs
• Craft: Dinosaur headband
• Sensory play: Dinosaur play dough mats
• Craft: Salt painting the letter “D”
• Science: Make fizzy dinosaur eggs
• Sensory art: Paint the dinosaurs
• Science: Chocolate chip dino dig

Construction activities

• Art: Watercolor construction painting
• Play: Build the biggest tower possible with blocks or legos
• Art: Draw a wrecking ball crane
• Sensory play: Play with construction trucks in a bin of sand, beans, or rice
• Activity: Make dirt play dough
• Sensory play: Construction themed play dough mats
• Activity: Make a set of alphabet rocks
• Movement: Construction movement cards
• Craft: Make a paper bulldozer
• Activity: Build marshmallow towers

Vehicle activities

• Literacy: Driving cars and learning letters
• Sensory play: Transportation pom pom matching
• Process art: Marker cars
• Math: Parking lot addition
• Art: Truck coloring pages
• Play activity: Ramp races
• Art: Guided drawing- Garbage truck
• Math: Make a car graph
• Activity: Printable firetruck puzzle
• Play activity: Cardboard box car track
