Here is a run-down of all my favorite pregnancy apps. Pick your favorites, download them on your phone, and you’ll be sure to stay up-to-date on your pregnancy week by week.
Of course, your doctor is the final authority, but I’ve found the following apps to be incredibly helpful and informative for the in-between-appointment kinds of questions, like, “Can I eat this?” or “How big is my baby now?”
Pregnancy Tracking Apps
The first 6 apps on this list will give you information about your pregnancy as your baby grows.
All of them will give you basics such as baby size and development, your body throughout your pregnancy, and informative articles. In addition, most of them will offer weekly email updates, and the chance to join and interact with a community of other expecting moms.
Aside from these basics, I’ve included some of my favorite things about each app below. Browse these additional features in order to determine which one of these six is the best fit for you.

Other Apps
The next 4 apps are for more specific aspects of your pregnancy. They focus on taking photos, finding the perfect name for your baby, and prenatal yoga.
7. Baby Story- Pics Editor
This is my favorite app for editing baby bump photos. It lets you do some basic editing and filter your photo, then add fun stickers to show the number of weeks, or how big your baby is compared to various foods.
You can see how I use this app to create baby bump photos over on Instagram.
8-9. Baby Names by BabyCenter and Baby Names
Both of these apps are fun ways to discover and save new favorite baby names.
10. Prenatal Yoga Pregnancy Fitness
There are sections of this app that you need to pay for, but there are also some free workouts, so go ahead and take advantage of them. 🙂
To do:
Find your new favorite pregnancy app and start using it. (Remember to ask your doctor before making a final decision about something important, though.) Have fun!
